Bluetooth Keyboards and Mice Suck

When I got my G5 (back whenever they were brand new, about a year ago), I paid extra money for the bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I don't know what I was thinking.

My keyboard is on my desk. The wire never bothered me. Now it eats batteries. It's pretty annoying to need to type a note and instead have to search for 4 good AAs. What's more, every once in a while, the networking hiccups, and my typing gets typed out of order. That's not acceptable.

The mouse was even worse -- but I quickly replaced it with a wired one with two buttons and a scroll wheel. There was a teeny-tiny lag in mouse movement, and a barely-perceptible granularity in its movement. I'm incredibly fussy about my mouse, so these tiny problems loomed huge.

Stick to wires.
